About Aurora Plains Academy
Aurora Plains Academy is located in Plankinton, South Dakota. Treatment areas for the youth at the Academy include mental illness, emotional problems, conduct problems, cognitive delays, addictions, sexual abuse/offender issues, academic issues, and peer and family problems.
It is the philosophy of the Academy that all youth are deserving of trauma-informed, therapeutic treatment and education; and that all youth are unique with individual treatment needs

Spark Alternative School provides a structured education setting for students grade 5-12 who have struggles behaviorally in the traditional school setting.
